               Sharjah Contracting, Khatib&Alami to


               work on 2.16km2 infra project


                                                              The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry
                                                              (SCCI) has picked Sharjah Contracting  and
                                                              design consultancy Khatib & Alami to work on an
                                                              infrastructure  development  project for the 10th
                                                              industrial  zone in Sharjah, which will cover an
                                                              area spanning 2.16km2.
                                                               SCCI is collaborating  with the Sharjah
                                                              Development  of  Town Planning and Survey,
                                                              Sharjah Roads  and  Transport Authority (SRTA),
                                                              and Sharjah  Water and Electricity  Authority
                                                              (SEWA).  The contractors will implement the
                                                              project for a period of 18 months.
                                                               Scope of work includes, infrastructure works to set
                                                              up road network, the implementation of rainwater
                                                              and lighting network, and the rehabilitation  of
                                                              sidewalks  and parking  lots as per the highest
                                                              safety  and security standards  and international
                                                              specifications.

                                                              Target Engineering  has been awarded  an  AED
                                                              84 million contract by ADNOC Offshore to carry
                                                              out the engineering,  procurement,  construction
                                                              and commissioning works for the replacement of
                                                              existing Slug Catchers, static equipment used in
                                                              the upstream oil production facilities to minimise
                                                              the slug from oil and gas pipelines, at the Satah
                                                              Plant on Zirku Island, Abu Dhabi. The contract
                                                              works will commence immediately for a duration
                                                              of 22 months. This award is line with the Group’s
                                                              strategic priority  to  diversify  its  backlog into
                                                              different sectors, including the industrial sector.

                                                              Target Engineering has also been awarded  an
                                                              AED 126 million  (excluding  Main Consultant’s
                                                              fees)  contract  for  the  construction of  Sunset
                                                              Square,  Abu Dhabi.  Target’s  scope of  work
                                                              includes  the construction of a nineteen-storey
