FIRST AID Training Course on 27 June 2018

The UAE Contractors Association, in partnership with SELEM DMCC  would like to invite you  to register for the Training Course: USA National Safety Council NSC – FIRST AID on 27th of June 2018.

Course Objectives:

More than 70 international medicals, health and safety organizations have reviewed, contributed to, or endorsed NSC first aid programs. Our NSC First Aid and CPR course follows the recent CPR and ECC guidelines which are updated approximately every five years.

The program helps participants recognize a medical emergency and act appropriately to sustain a life or treat an injury until professional help can be provided. Studies show that effectively treating an emergency can save a life or minimize the long-term impact of the injury on the victim.

Who should attend:

• Any member of a professional organization who wishes to assist fellow workers or clients in an emergency
• Anyone interested to learn first aid. There is no age limitation to attend this workshop

Course Content:

• Course Introduction
• Providing basic life support for adults
• Checking the victim
• Managing bleeding and wound care
• Preventing disease transmission
• Treating shock
• Treating burns
• Bone, joint and muscle injuries
• Responses to choking, heart attack or chest pains
• Responses to poisoning
• Cold or heat emergencies
• Rescuing, moving victims and recovery positions.

Step-by-step photo sequences, illustrations and skills presentations are included in the Student Workbook for each student along with the NSC First Aid Quick Guide reference book that can be carried anywhere. We also provide a DVD for each student with real-life scenarios and demonstrations.
