In the following Q&A, we met up with the CEO of Al
Ashram Contracting, Mr. Malek Ali Fakih, who clarified
some points about the company, and his insights
regarding the future of the construction sector.
1-Al Ashram Contracting LLC enjoys a prominent
position in the contracting sector within the
country. What is the main approach taken to build
this good reputation?
MAF: The recipe of our success lies in our positive
stance towards our customers, our valued clients
and stakeholders. As an organization, it’s absolutely
imperative that we maintain our relationship with our
clients with the ‘extra-mile’ attitude. Above all, we treat
all our employees with respect, value their work and
reward them accordingly. Our supply-chain partners
are a crucial part of our business and thus, we extend
the same positive approach to them as we do with our
own employees.
2-Sustainable construction practices is one of the
priorities for construction companies. How is the
company adopted the sustainability concept?
MAF: Sustainability has multiple facets; whether it
